Door grillige vraag en slechte voorspelling lag de helft van het magazijn vol met artikelen die nauwelijks verkochten. Het blokkeerde cash en ruimte. Die koppelde de kassadata aan de voorraadbewegingen en maakte een ABC-analyse: A-producten (snellopers), B-producten (regelmatig), C-producten (langzaam). Na zes weken wisten ze precies wat bleef liggen.
