Zijn twee zoons waren inmiddels mede-eigenaar, maar niemand durfde de oude patronen te doorbreken. Theo bepaalde alles, van recept tot rooster. De jongste zoon wilde nieuwe producten introducteren, maar werd steeds afgewezen. Ze brachten een nieuw lunchproduct op de markt en het vloog de winkel uit. Theo zag de omzetstijging en besefte dat zijn controle de groei blokkeerde.
