Hoge inspanning, lage hitrate. Ondertussen kende hij tientallen accountants, juristen en verzekeraars die wekelijks bij MKB-eigenaren aan tafel zitten, maar hij zag ze vooral als \u201cleuke kennissen\u201d, niet als kanaal. Belangrijk: hij positioneerde dit niet als \u201ckom Ren\u00e9 inhuren\u201d, maar als \u201cik help jouw klant even orde in zijn hoofd te krijgen rondom groei, team en cashflow \u2013 jij blijft de primaire adviseur.\u201d Dus hij tastte hun relatie niet aan. Belangrijker nog: de relaties met die partners werden zakelijker en waardevoller, niet vrijblijvend. Les: je hoeft niet altijd z\u00e9lf op jacht naar nieuwe klanten. Slimme partnerships kunnen een stabiele instroom geven, mits je hun klant helpt zonder hun positie over te nemen.
