Iedereen zat in alle klantgroepen. Hierdoor was er nul focus en iedereen rende achter alle deadlines tegelijk aan. Nieuwe mensen werden ingewerkt door \u201cgewoon mee te lopen\u201d, maar dat werkte niet meer met de groei. Elke pod kreeg zijn eigen omzetdoel en planning. Nieuwe collega\u2019s werden in een pod geplaatst met \u00e9\u00e9n duidelijke buddy. De eigenaar kreeg tijd om acquisitie te doen zonder schuldgevoel dat hij \u2018het team in de steek liet\u2019. Les: opschalen betekent vaak: van losse individuen naar kleine zelfsturende eenheden met eigen verantwoordelijkheid.
