De snellere jongens kregen altijd de spoedorders, de rest deed de restjes. De snelle jongens waren trots, maar ook uitgeput. De langzamere voelden zich afgeschreven (\u201cblijkbaar ben ik tweederangs\u201d). Elke dag heeft twee \u201cpiekblokken\u201d van een uur waarin spoed binnenkomt. Voor die blokken staat vooraf vast wie \u2018frontline\u2019 draait. Niemand staat daar elke dag. Daarnaast liep een teamleider na elk piekblok kort langs om te vragen: \u201cWat ging traag? Mensen zagen: \u201cWe dragen samen de piek, niet alleen de \u2018snelle jongens\u2019.\u201d De uitval omlaag, minder cynisme. Les: als je altijd dezelfde mensen overbelast, cre\u00eber je op korte termijn snelheid en op lange termijn frustratie.
